Dieselkreig/Dieselpunk Miniatures

Ok, so Microworldgames has had ttps://www.microworldgames.com/collections/6mm-dieselpunk/DPStah range for a wee while now. Not much to it I admit, but everything starts somewhere.

They really caught my eye, son I ordered a few to try them out.

Colour me impressed, the infantry figures are excellent quality, they really invoke the ‘feel’ that intended, the tanks also, but not quite a strikingly, but they are excellent models also.

For these, I shaved off the ‘pickelhaube’, but in later platoons I will be leaving it on, just to have a nice but realistic contract between the units.

Note, the camo patter is a home brewed version of the german Buntfarbenanstrich or Buntfarbenanstrich 1918 (meaning colourful painting)

Also, I am no great photographer….

These are a great range, it requires some more models to make into a full army, but this is a good start

Sweet fancy crap, when did the tanks come out?! I was not informed!

Your camo looks great! Just the thing for a semi-germanic force!

Now the Stahlritters need some Kommandants, Pionieren, some Sturmkanonen, and, dare I say it, some Panzerkampfanzugs.

Like I said before, the first ones I have seen in the wild! I love the choice of camo scheme.

Seems it was snuk out as a stealth release by popular demand. ;D

I hope this helps:

These things are intended to be unreasonably large tanks, despite their whippet medium stylings.

I think this range has some serious potential.

And it only needs a ‘few’ figures to complete it, ad Mr. Average states.

3 command (2 Senior’ish officers (one in cap and one in helmet, and a standard bearer)

Weapon crew (1 Spotter with Bino’s or Telescope, 1 loader, 1 firer, all crouched), this way you can produce a HMG, Mortar and a small cannon, and have mix and match.

3 Pioneer types

3 Stormtrooper types.

That’s 12 models (15 Inc. crewed weapons) and you could have a ‘full’’ army.

Now I have no idea what’s required to have a model sculpted and cast, but maybe some sort of kickstarter?

All a wee bit presumptuous of me I know, but if don’t ask, yo do not get!

Really nively painted infantry, I am glad someone tried to make them look more realistic by cutting the pickel.

As for more models, heavy weapons, combat nurses (and princess general) and I balive NCOs are in the works. They will also be mounted cavalry. As for armored trains, I think that they would fit the universe well but for now Stahlritters are getting all the attention and we can't forget that there are other faction in the works with even more stuff to go, so we can't give all the good things to these guys as there will be nothing left for others ;)
