I may have a very old version of this thread from circa 2016, but I thought I'd start a new one.
I've always wanted to do a pure beastmen renegade 6mm army, and so I had some art done for it an embarassingly long time ago, all concepts by Will Beck.

The infantry and such are currently being sculpted, but I just got some preview shots of the vehicle masters, sculpted by Andreas Udby. I'm pretty psyched about them. Originally they had sort of larger spikes on the side, but we had to ditch them for mold life concerns. Once I have the masters in hand, I'll be sending them to the physical sculptor to get some stowage, totems, skulls, and tank rider flare made for the accessory pack. For future releases I am thinking a Tomahawk helicopter sort of transport, maybe a gunship version too, and a superheavy tank or 2. Any other requests?

Is the idea that this is going to be a Guard proxy or were you envisioning it as its own thing? I'd love to see larger riding beasts with heavy weapons to use as Sentinels. |

You mentioned helicopters and now I'm just imagining some chaos space marines running an aviation school. I have to say it's kinda weird seeing beastmen with wwII and ultramodern tanks. But I'd say big multitubed rocket launchers, military campaign centric mods like vietnam era gun trucks and the Ontos, and seconding on the flame tanks. If you're looking to making them a very tribal guys backed up by a super-power kind of army then anything big, noisy, and lacking finesse. Oh, and a command tank that's had the turret removed added a spotting tower and an awning covered harem or salvaged reclining chair. |

Yeah I got those Dreg AFVs … Great ! Lov'm ! The Dreg crews if not used on those AFVs make good Beastmen types ... |
