Pikemen on the final stage, looking quite nice if I say so myself, a 'generic' colour scheme I liked.

Fantastic paint job. What painting method do you use? Do you undercoat with black or white?

Hey,

I base them on 40 * 20 mm mdf, cover the base in vallejo basing sand (wait for it to dry) then spray black.

On the same shoebox I have been using for umpteen years, hence the 'tar pits'

:D

Then it's a wedge of drybrushing (all Vallejo) and picking out some details, it simple than it looks, and works well for the figures and the era.

Lovely paint on those. I was thinking of eventually going for blue and red myself, l'm afraid I'm not great at painting white though.
