Yeah, lots of work going on in the back end pretty continuously. I have the first metal masters sitting on my desk for the insect nomads. The entirety of the Orc army will be finished sculpting within a month, which is a big step. The rest of the Stahlritter infantry is being sculpted, probably will be done in 2 months or so (I hope).
For the Stahlritter vehicles, I have the first tank production mold done, but it’s a heavy tank, and I thought I would wait till I could release the army as a whole. I have someone lined up to do the rest of the vehicles, but I’m unsure on timeframe at the moment.
In terms of release, I still need to figure out what to do about the insect nomad “vehicles”. I think they are going to be too heavy and expensive in metal. And the legs…I foresee much falling off. I may go with resin for the main insect bodies. I’ve also considered having them resculpted to be 2 halves and hollow in the center…one half with the bottom of the body and the legs already attached, then you just sandwich the top of the body onto it. That said, I really like the existing sculpts, so I think it might have to be the resin option.
