Looking for inspiration. Anyone painted already or have any advice on painting the new harpies feathered vaiety or otherwise.

Feathered harpies will be with beastmen and membrane winged with either dark elf or possibly doubling as vampires for undead.

Well you could always go with the general schemes for your armies: bestial skin (beastmen), and grey/purple/black (dark elves)

That's how I'm using mine for Hordes of the Things. Undead Flyers. Mine haven't arrived yet but I'm going for this look when they do.

Thank you for your advice. Working on undead army at the moment as I am hoping to fight a version of Hel Fenn. With a few amendments as I only have elves dwarves and 14th Century Scottish troops painted up.

A white primer with either a light (in strength, not color) blue or purple wash may give that effect

I think I will takeyour advice but perhaps try to make the wings charcoal and grey. Will need to experiment I think
