These are amazing! I'm not sure how I'd use these but I'm tempted to get some anyway!

Some of the NJ locals (well, one other and I) are thinking of converting the Kings of War 28mm rules (which we already know) to using the 6mm stuff here because it's just SO pretty. We've also had a few discussions about trying to set aside a day to go visit and pick up our cool toys at the same time.

Basically, let's go get awesome 6mm stuff and worry about how to use them later.

I was thinking of using the Kings of War rules as well. I based on 40 x 20 and will use 1 base for a small unit, 2 deep for a regular regiment and 4 bases 2 x 2 for hordes. Also, either change everything to cm or just halve the inches.

Where in Jersey are you guys?

Regards, Bill

I, too, am aiming at 40x10 per rank, so most units starting at 40x20, then use a simple 1" to 1cm system. We're somewhat scattered - I'm in northern NJ, Mount Olive area, plus a player in Morristown and Hopatcong. Though our FLGS haunt of late has been Bernardsville. Then perhaps add gunslinger to that and possibly one or two others nearby and we're starting to pick up a bit of a crowd!

To avoid cluttering up the Ogres, probably should take this to PMs now. :)

You know they're re-releasing the KoW rules.

There was a mention in one interview where they are going to set out specific rules for the base sizes for each unit.

I don't know the exact details though, because it was a passing reference in a youtube video that was half in English and half in Spanish.
The only downside is they are doing a kickstarter, so I don't know how to get access to the rules in the next couple of months without backing the damn thing.

Holy moly! I just sent you an email via your Microworld site about the release schedule for these. It's encouraging to see that these photos were posted late last year - suggesting that maybe these Ogres will be released soon? I would LOVE to pick up pretty much all of them!

Are they ready now? How 'bout now? Now?

PS and as others hint to above, they look like they'd be an excellent match for Mantic's Kings of War game. The 2nd edition went out to backers a few days ago, and the retail release is in a month or so. Can't wait.

Got the last 2 sculpts in for this army to complete a dedicated command set. Ogre hero on foot and a female ogre shaman:

I really wanted to release these this year, but it will depend on availability of funds. At the very latest I would say Feb 2016.

Ah, February! That's like... FOREVER!

I can't wait to see these guys.

Do you have a "release schedule" or something like that where you might update what's in the pipeline, and the order? It looks like the post apocalyptic road warrior dudes might be next, then these guys?

I decided that I really wanted the Ogres out this year, so they should be at one of my casters tomorrow. I anticipate them being released after the Microwasteland stuff, so I am thinking early December.
