Hi Max,
long time no see!

Those skeletons are looking good. Would a devlan mud wash work on minis that size, because that might add even more depth.

Nice to see there are still KoW in the background.

delvan mud or approx tends to pool, and on mini;s this size can be bad. I will test it though.

sorry for the long silence. big projects, school, and work, and this trip, have kept me away. not for long though.

Light wash with a drybrush of the base color worked well for me on the skeletons

I meant because we used to do the Mantic Moments podcast together. I haven't been on warseer in ages, and didn't expect to see you here.

Well, the following

3 regiments of 20 skeleton archers
3 regiments of skeleton warriors with hand weapons and shields
2 regiments of 10 revenant cavalry
another necromancer stand

And for them to fight against:

1 dwarf army A
3 more units of dwarf warriors (although i forgot to get an extra command pack. will need to do that in my next order)

That is going to be quite the shambling horde on the table.

How do you like those new citadel paints? I've been thinking of picking up a few...

They are not bad, I've been picking them up as my older ones dry out. Don't trust the color sheet comparison to the older paints. I needed a match to snakebite leather and balor brown did not mix to the correct color like its predecessor. go by your gut.

I will say of the new technicals i have the blood and oxidization effects. both are phenomenal :)

The new bottle design is annoying, the tab for the well to stay upright tends to break. best have a pallet handy just in case. Also, the base paints tend to thicken and dry up slightly quicker then thier predecessors.

Finally, Cadian flesh is an awesome replacement for Dwarf Flesh, and the new Delvan mud replacement does a decent if slightly worse job in pooling.

And, I've been organizing stuff (along with doing mundane, school stuff) instead of painting :/

BUT!

I will have an update, and soonish! I'm not going to leave you all in the dark like my accident ridden past! UPDATES ARE COMING!

So it begins....
