Really is! It's the 25% sales tax, 2% toll, plus $32 for the damn mail monopoly to 'handle those payments' that's really putting a wrench in my Microworld order plans ..

I wish there was something I could do about it, I feel really bad for my non-US customers. I think it really hurts my business overall as I usually get a couple of emails a month asking if I have a distributor in one place or another. Funny thing is about 75% of my business comes from overseas, I should just move to the UK!

Ouch that sales tax is cruel. In OZ we current get overseas orders under $1000 free from goods and sevices tax. Cant last i suppose.

i really think the various mini -mini manufacturers would benefit from reciprocal stocking.

It's a great idea and we did experiment with that in the EW offices, but people tended to just buy EW stock. This is probably a marketing issue on our side though. The other issue is storage. We now have two offices and a storage depot just for EW (and Dystopian Wars), taking on more companies would require more rack space. We would also need all companies involved to use compatible packaging (either some kind of blister or boxed sets).

It's something I'd be keen on pursuing but we would need to expand to bigger premises (again). Right now we are invested up to the hilt with 2 boxed games I'm production and a major partner in negotiations over a license agreement.

In short, the idea is on the radar, but right now £££'s are low.

MWG international postage is cheaper than EW's UK domestic postage rate, but MWG orders over £40–50 then get hit with tax/duty etc when entering the UK. Which is all fine and reasonable, except you then get charged an £8–10ish handling fee to pay for the cost of them telling you you need to pay a £2.27 (or w/e) import cost on your order :{[]

(also, sorry L4, i just edited my comments into your post instead of quoting it by mistake, oops, fixed 0,o )
