Curious about the comment that the 8-wheeler up front was purchased by another company and so it "should" be available later "also". Does this mean it will not be released by you ( in any turret configuration ) and only by the other company or do you retain the right to produce it as well?

I take it as ominous when a design goes to another company because there are no guarantees that company's ambition will bear fruit ( or metal )... I do not like the "should" and the "also" -- the first is indefinite and the latter suggests it will not be produced by you ( in which case, I would have preferred that you would not have shown it to us ).

I feel strongly ( maybe too strongly ;) ) about this because these are truly outstanding vehicles and mesh so well with each other visually and as a unit for a range of capabilities -- loss of the 8-wheelers would leave a huge gap in the miniature line and the tabletop force.

The referred to 8-Wheeler has been edited out of the first preview, and is not shown in the second. So AFAIK, all pictured models are destined for production at this point. Despot, is this correct?

Yup, everything that is currently in the preview images will be released by me. Steve and I spoke and decided it wasn't right to have another companies property in a preview of mine (when I originally put the image up I didn't know it had been purchased). I really should have cut it out before I posted, but laziness reigns :)

But again, everything you now see in the preview images will be released by me.

Given the doctoring of photos, perhaps that big ol' 6-wheeler 1/4track should be dubbed the "Josef Stalin."

;-).

These look great!

So, not to be too thick, but the support vehicle with the three turret options and 8 wheels will be released by Microworld and is NOT the 8-wheeled vehicle in question now owned by another company...

Effing eff!

Edit, more cogent observations, but still drunk - Where can see picture of edited out vehicle? Why infantry on hexagonal bases, and not on industry standard 6mm disc bases?

@Sawbones - Yup, the 8-wheeled support vehicle is all mine, and should be about 36mm long

O-man - that was an earlier preview, they all got changed to circular bases before being prototyped, no hexes here!

Thanks! Great news! If the miniatures truly look like the images, then I suspect the line will be extremely popular!

Holy . . . The infantry one their own would make me drool, but the vehicles, particularly that VTOL gunship are jsut incredible!
Any ETA on this range yet? Mid-May has passed, so I'm hoping within the month :)

I just got word yesterday that the master mold for the first wave is complete, so I would hope the production molds would be done in a few weeks. They should definitely be available by July 1st, barring any sort of disaster with the moldmaking.

I got the first bronzes of the basic infantry back a few weeks ago. The detail printed amazingly well, its interesting to see the difference between the hand-sculpted and CAD sculpted infantry, mainly that the CAD infantry have smaller heads and hands. I'll have to try to snap some pictures of the bronzes. the only problem with them is their circular bases are a bit bigger than standard, my own fault for not checking the .stl files before I sent them off. Infantry specialists will have "normal" sized bases.
