As was stated in the open nominations thread a new post of Squat Army Champion has been created to gather together the somewhat fragmented Squat development and push forward towards the publication of Epic:Xenos. After talking to a number of candidates I'd like to announce that Moscovian has been appointed to this role. Bringing with him a track record of army development and a lead role in the Xenos project I'm sure he will do a great job. The NetERC received a number of strong nominations for this role and I know Moscovian is looking forward to working with all of you in getting the Squats lists developed. |

With this said, I am deeply hoping that some of the strong interest in the Squats these days remains so, and that those players continue to push forward with exactly what we have been. Ironmonger, Borka, Dwarf Supreme, Dave, and Morgan Vening are huge fans of the list and I want need their help getting this project done. Anyone else who has a love for the Squats is welcome in our Stronghold.  I'll contact you individuals shortly. <--- no pun intended |

Good news! We have at least one local player that will be using Squats in our upcomming campiagn/tournament this year. |

Onyx, I've been in communication with Morgan Vening who is on board for helping get the Squats up and running (Australia represents!). His list IMO has a lot of characteristics that I'd like to see in the Thurgrimm core list, and everyone seems to have the same goals in mind. There are bound to be some bumps, but with a unified vision as to what we all want to see from the Squats, we're gonna be in good shape I reckon. |
