Measuring Land Train weapons

As the Land Train can get quite long I got to ask: how do you guys measure ranges and LOF for the LT weapons?
I just measure the range and LOF from the engine's cannon.

I measure it from the weapon, which I think is what you are supposed to do. From the weapon to the target model's base (of course I may be wrong here).

From the weapons of the other cars as well? For example the berserker car cannons?
And if you are combining two barrage weapons?
It starts getting a bit more complex with the weapons from the cars

Thanks. It makes sense. I started using the Land Train and it's size and costumizing raised quite a lot of rules questiosn for me.

I suppose how you organize your train has to do with your strategy. Not only do you have to consider ranges but the fact that the critical hit removes the back cart as well. So which car do you want to lose the least?

Yep, I've tried so far double LT's with 3 Berserker Cars (works best one with 2 and the other with 4 cars because of BTS by the way) and and LT with Bomb Car+Berserkers for some added shields.
Both combinations pretty effective.

Hello !

Last wekend extactly that question occured.
Due to the fact that the land train is a war engine, tha (eventhough it consists of diffrent parts) we measured all the distances from the land train engine . A gargants weaponery is measured from the gargants center as well....

So it's from the weapon, not the center or front or any other place, unless you agree to an alternative means of measurement of course. :)
