I thought it'd be cool to show some of the sculpts we've been working on for Timeline 300 to be released in the coming weeks.

German Revenants

Quote:
So dearly do the German populace love their nation, that in the aetherically-charged 1870’s, not all of those who die actually go on to find their long rest in the grave. For some, the ember of their previous life still burns at a low ebb even though their heart has ceased to beat and their body has begun to decay. These people are the revenants, echoes of the unshakable patriots they once were.

So it is that the revenants find one last way to serve their proud nation, by making their way to the aetherical Translocators that serve the German army, they fulfil their unquenchable desire to protect their nation by fighting in the name of their homeland one last time, before the rot that has begun to gnaw at their bodies causes their strength to wither, and their spirit to at last depart this life. Incredibly tough to disable, and heedless of pain, the revenants are an unnatural force to be feared.

British Field Guns

Quote:
British Field Guns are a common sight in British task forces, especially those that lack the financial support to afford some armoured vehicles, yet which would like some manner of relatively cheap weaponry that allows hostile armoured vehicles and infantry to be engaged at range.

Rugged of construction and simple of design, field guns are cheap to manufacture and offer a respectable level of firepower on the battlefield. Their slow speed makes them unsuited to aggressive battles, but entrenched and supported in the proper manner with screening infantry detachments Field Guns have often been used by British forces to dominate a restricted area whilst Coal was excavated, which enabled more mobile elements to be Translocated into the warzone that then enabled the British commanders to push onto the offensive.

German Armoured Infantry

Quote:
In contrast to the barely-armoured Steamjet infantry squads, Germany’s elite Armoured Infantry Squads wear so much bodily protection that it requires articulated steam-assisted mechanisms to enable the wearer of an Armoured Infantry suit to lift his own bodyweight. A complex arrangement of clockwork computers allows the wearer of such a suit of powered armour to carry a heavy mechanism gun, wielding it as if it were no more heavy than a large pistol.

In addition, intricate machinery allows the user of a suit of powered armour to track potential targets in real time, with clockwork indicators rising before the wearer’s face to point out attackers and offer assistance to the user in manoeuvring the heavy armoured suit to best target his opponent.

If forced into a close combat, the armoured suit’s steam-hydro powered fists enable it to tear apart hostile armoured vehicles as if they were mere paper toys.

Martian Flying Machine

Quote:
Heavier than air flight of objects larger than a human being has not been achieved by Earthlings, and so the sight of a Martian Flying Machine soaring through the sky is one that terrifies those humans who are unfortunate enough to observe one in flight.

Equipped not just with a short range chemical weapon system that suffocates its targets, the Flying Machine also carries an Aetherical Translocator that allows it to bring new Martians onto the battlefield which can close to finish off those left alive after the black smoke clears. It is a horrific dual threat which is becoming increasingly more common on the battlefields.

Note: This model will be resin, and will be supplied with a flying base.
It has a diameter of slightly over 5.5cm... another "superheavy" sized model!

That's just my standard modelling colour; I find it easiest to see the constrast in blue.

I also love the German Armored infantry.

The Martian Flying Machine itself is a nice model but looks more like a land bound bastion/emplacement than a flying contraption. Also, IMHO, I cannot begin to say why but it just doesn't seem to match the aesthetics of the tripods (except for the weapon system)... Maybe some ability to see what provides the lift/flight capability when looking at the model from above or the side? Maybe a few sharper edges like those seen on the tripod legs?

Those German Armoured Inf are cool. When you get the masters, can you do a size comparison against Epic plastic Terminators please?

Timeline 300 is 10mm scale so they'd be huge in comparison...

I love these new models, and the general style of this awesome game. those armored germans are epically awesome, and I've seeing them rolling as some new form of imperial knight class mech in epic 40k, which will already have some of your vehicles rolling with it.
