Okay, I know that at some point in the past there were some proxies for the various Sisters of Battle vehicles. I'd like to know if any are still available. Or, if those are no longer available, if anyone had any plans on doing some. Rhinos are obviously not a big problem, mainly I'm talking about the immolator, exorcist (the fancy pipe organ version), and the repressor. And if anyone has a good idea for making a penitent engine, I'd like some pointers for that as well. Also, I'd request that you not PM me if all you have is information about who did the previously available models. I know that much already. |

At one point in time I made several of these, but no longer. They may make a return in time. |

I made these, which were fairly easy.  The right hand side ones are part Canadian chicken walker and part ork dread, the left ones are Ork dreads with legs from old plastic sentinels... Add some unfortunate/appropriate models as penitents and hey presto! |

Im wondering if these wouldnt make nice Emperor's Chapels:  Its like the same size as the Sovereign that people are using for the larger war engine:  But it looks like it could be painted suitably... |

I imagine it'll be about the same size as the Britannia one, might be a bit big, looks suitable tho. |

I recently bought a set of the land vehicles for the prussians and I have to say that the dystopian range is beautiful. I found the quality of the sculpts to be very good as well, all the small details from the computer rendered pics showed. |

atleast 2 of the Shapeways stores have conversion kits. One store has a kit that makes a standard rhino into Immolators, Organ missile launching exorcists and the Repressor. It has a sprue of 5 of each. Price varies on how detailed you want it. Extreme detail is about AU$43.00 plus postage. This store is called National Cheese Emporium. A second Shapeways store designs by Nanofactory has a set of 12 Sisters/Inquisition doors, a set of 8 sisters bulldozer blades, a set of 5 organ gun conversions, and a set of 4 Immolator conversions which are all designed for a Rhino APC that is slightly larger than GW plastic Rhino APC. Onslaught has their sisterhood range with their hellborn gore maidens being good proxies for repention sisters. I have found that one of the models in the Stygian command pack - the slayer fiend is good for the repention sisters mistress. Another company Vanguard makes a range of proxies called Defeat in detail. Their Novan regulars have 3 vtols called the falcon, the kestrel and the buzzard which are all good proxies for the Valkyrie/Vulture gunship. As to the Novan Elites, their Storm siege breaker heavy assault carrier would be good for a Cathedral, and as a 30K Mastadon transport. The standard APC base has a number of turrets that allow it to be used as a predator,Immolator, Hunter, Whirlwind/ Exorcist. I am looking at using the Novan Regulars Stughog tankbuster fighter as a lightning/Avenger strike fighter. The Novan regulars also have a good range of infantry useful for Inquisitorial stormtroopers, or Adeptus tempestus in the form of the Novan Royal Marines. I am also using the Novan Winter Royal Marines sergeant as my commissars. The rest of the troops I am using for heavy weapons squads in my Vraksian Renegades army. I am myself still looking for a perfect substitute/proxy for the Penitent Engine. At the moment I am using the Defeat in Detail Skinnerz Tranplers. |

Holy necro, batman  Deb, you'll want to check out VGMs newest items from their crowdfunding campaign #1. There's a model that will make a great penitent engine in there. Once the backer fulfillment is done they'll be on the regular store. Couple of months I suspect. |

Not a fan of the nude look of the rider. Was tempted as part of the kickstarter but upped my pledge on other items instead. |
