I have no issue with it being anti infantry too, just with it being AT6+ and hence not an anti tank weapon!

The more I think about it, the more I realise the Avenger will be massively useful; ranged AT fire is severely lacking in the list. Maybe 175 points for two then?

Just need to finish the unit fluff text and I'll release the new list!

20 down, 12 to go...

You shloud take into account that an aircraft can itselve manouver easily in the rear of a vehicle on the ground.
Strength 6 is ok for penetrating Armourvalue 10 which almost all vehicles have and pretty good if you have lots of Strength 6 shots.
Actually shooting tanks in the rear was the vavoured taktick of the Ilyushin Il-2 of WWII.

And if 2x AP5+/AT6+ seems to weak then you could make it AP4+/AT5+ (1x not 2x ).

The epic rules don't allow aircraft to claim crossfire, so the shooting in the rear of the vehicles thing won't work here.

The background has it as an anti vehicle weapon, and I think having a total of 3xAT5+ (2 from the main cannon, one from the lascannons) nicely represents that.

Anyone know of any appropriately sized stuka models out there somewhere? It's either that or the ginger stepchild of the Lightning and Valkyrie... which is looking more attractive by the minute.

The Guard AC has lowered the cost of the Leman Russ upgrade in their lists to 175, any chance that could make it in too?

Do you see what I mean about priests?

Yep, that'll be in there.

I do, but I'm struggling to see a solution. In the new version Redemptionist get a free priest and the option to buy a second one...

Another thing to think about... The vehicles are the only non-25 point increments in the list, so how about:

2 civvie vehicles - 25 points
2 Rhinos - 25 point
Repressors, Immolators - 25 points each

I didn't talk about tthe Crossifire rule but about a justification for a better AT stat than the Wh40k stats would suggest.

Woo, new version of the list, and a sneak peak at the Ministorum section of Epic: Hive.

As usual, any typos, comments, flame wars etc are much welcomed.

Nice work, though I was disappointed to see only general descriptions given for the Titans as most of the other units had background linked to the actual campaign in the book. Maybe naming a Titan or two and giving a brief description of a battle where it was victorious/destroyed, a hive world might have some mechanicum facilities that the titans are tasked to defend.

Only typo I think I've found so far is the use of 'Choir' instead of 'Seraphim' in the army list I could be wrong but it the new formation names seem to follow a pattern. Will give it another read or two and see what I can find.

LOVE the artwork for Palatine Wenda in particular.

I'm very meh about the titans in general. They don't really feature in the supplement, and they're only in the list because they kinda have to be.

It's intentional, I believe GW have referred to squads of Seraphim by that name before.

Yeah, I've managed to source some great sisters artwork, but I'm really lacking in nid and genestealer cult artwork, so I need to make an open call sometime soon.

Slight problem, with rhinos now priced by the pair, if Retributors or Repentia take rhinos they end up with a spare.
