As the subject says: are we going to see these hybrid rules in written form someday? Just asking...

Well from our standpoint, we are working on a publishable copy. I'm even doing some copying today and my gaming buddy has a lot on his computer. We can play and experiment because we have been doing it together for a long time and simply can refer to a rule written or otherwise. Primarch's Heresy rules are available, so you might what to check those out, they are a hybrid system.

I already have. I fact I'm to blame for the Sisters of Battle and Planetary Defense Force lists. I'm just perpetually looking for new rules to read.

Oh yes, we were working on them for a little while this evening, so when we think they are worthy, we'll let everyone know. ?
And as you know, every author, game designer etc., likes to know his labors are being read ... ?
But like I said before, no matter what Epic system you play, try "Activation" and don't be too reluctant to experiment. But you're probably like many of us who are always looking for a better system ...

But you're probably like many of us who are always looking for a better system ... | Oh yes, the holy grail of the game systems has eluded me so far, but I've discovered a fair number of nice game systems in the process.
Besides, as I am a weird person I actually _like_ to read game rules to see what kind of mechanics they use. My interests also include army list conversion and design.
