Well as mentioned in other threads I'm working on a homebrew version of epic ... taking elements from the last three iterations of the game ... it is primarily based on Space Marine though, with an attempt at streamlining (Like NetEpic, but different I hope)

Now rolling the 2d6 vs 2d6 for each unit fighting seemed more than alittle bit clumsy ... my first idea is to reduce the CAF (Now simply called 'Assault') and make it a D6 vs D6 roll, plus their respective bonuses ... would this still be to slow? Would a mechanic similar to Armageddons be much less frustrating?
