We've got some new designs coming up...

Should we do them "true scale" (about 3cm long for the APC) or "reduced scale" (about 2cm long for the APC).

I could be wrong but can not the APC and Skimmer be fudged separately? What's the scale of the rest of your line?

"truescale", as in previously I've not under-scaled a single vehicle.

This has meant all TMG vehicles so far have been nice and chunky.
The APC is meant as a transport for the Novan Elites, who wear really bulky armour, so I'm worried that in "reduced scale" it'd look a bit silly trying to cram Elites into the back of it.

I personally prefer smaller figures, but I'm voting large to fit the rest of your range better.

Though if you stack 'em like cordwood you could probably fit 10 Elites in a 2cm APC.

I've always been a fan of the 'classic' scale Epic models produced. That said, I think all TMG stuff within any given race should be the same scale.

True scale for me.

In other news E&C, can you come back to me on my emails please mate.

Cheers

Personally I'm on from the old skool - even the old GW AV models were actually "generously" proportioned compared to RL 6mm micro armour.

Obviously there is an argument for over-scale infantry for robustness and to be able to tell them apart from a distance. I'm happy to live with a minor scale difference between them and the AVs - particularly as much of this is due to base height. When I comes to power armour and APCs... well it's the armour must forged of pure handwavium. :-)

Um how about trying a 15 or 20% reduction instead of a third.

Larger. Current Rhinos chassis look extremely weedy compared to SM infantry. Even the Land Raiders will have a hard time fitting SM inside. Other miniature lines do this as well. I'm not sure why the lack of scale consistency started back in the day, but it did, and no one seems to get it right. I prefer more true scale all the way. Keep them big and chunky.

I would vote true scale, or at least larger than the old GW tank scale which is just a bit too small.

Definitely keep doing what you want to do - otherwise what's the point right? True scale all the way.
