This is a link to a phone scanner app I came across, never tried it but I thought something like this might be relevant to some people's interests. Stuff like this pushes the creativity back into the producers hands more so they can get their hands deeper into projects. This is pretty awesome once it's been fine tuned some for a community like ours.

I'd assume not. Sculpteo is a legit 3d print site and this app is sort of relevant here.

I've had a play with 123D catch before and couldn't really get it to work well, most of the time it just failed to build the model.
