There are a lot of posts/questions asking for dimensions/sizes of mini to aid scratch building etc. I've done it several times. The usual response is either the required numbers or a link to a post with the results. Why don't we start a stickied dimensions/sizes catalogue post. This could show a pic of the mini, it's H x W x D plus any pertinent info (wing span). I for one would find this very useful.

In addition the pics of the minis should be taken next to a Rhino for size comparison and for completeness all epic scale mini manufacturers should be included.
Is this a better idea for a website/blog or will it work here?

What type of Rhino would that be? An African rhino, to paraphrase, or a plastic one? :-B

I agree, great idea!
Several times I wanted to try and model a 6mm count-as, but I couldn't figure out the correct dimensions (I'm looking at you, silly chaotic mechanical dragon!)...

I was going to photograph some old bits, then remembered that the citadel catalogues/annuals were printed pretty much 1:1 size. So for most older stuff you can just measure direct from those.

I'm thinking that this would be best placed as a bespoke website. I'm happy using Blogger to create my blogs, is their a similar (easy to use) website that I can set up. Needs to be free and have plenty of space for lots of pics/info. Alternatively, I will set up another blog.

Might be as easy just to do it as a blog? At least you'd get a text search and the ability to categorise them that way. Otherwise it might be worth dropping Elsinore a line and see if he has the stomach to add it to miniwars?
