As I mentioned earlier, imperators are said to be 166 feet tall which is ~7 inches high 1/300 scale, a bit bigger 1/285, so its just about on the money.

...and awesome. What a great idea! Looking forward to seeing this progress. I'm assuming that the fire control centre (and presumably other bits) are being designed to fit snugly so they can be simply glued on top of the Knight's carapace. Is that correct; or will you be trimming/ leaving bits off?

I love the idea of the Dies Irae at a properly terrifying size, so will be keen to follow this.

Yep, tower designed to slot into the top port, rear bastions designed to plug into exhaust ports, shoulders designed to clip onto the shoulder rail. Only trickies will be leg bastion bits which glue flat, but ill put a 1mm round peg on the back so they can glue into a drilled hole.

My security camera arrived last night, looks like the components will fit inside once gutted, but I need someone more electronics minded (my bro in law) to help wire it.

Leg bastion bits, designed to fit in around the existing detailing. Hopefully.

No, going to use a gatling gun from dreamforge leviathan and convert a plasma, I have the front section from a plastic imperator plasma. I will also wait and see what forgeworld produces in terms of weapon kits.

I can not wait to see this. SO COOL. I hope this works out... just might need to drop the $250 or whatever it ends up being to build this thing....
