Hi,
I am about to cast some home made bases but I have question. The bases are made of plaster, plastic, wood, sand, greenstuff. I will use smooth-on products oomoo 30 and smooth-cast 300. My question is that is priming the bases enough to seal them since some materials are pourous? Or is sealing agent needed? I have uper seal and ease release if needed. Any tips?

I wouldn't prime it, as the point of primer is to make paint adhere. I think you'd be better spraying things with a gloss coat, and once dry with a coat of silicone mold release.

I use a pva/water mix to seal polystyrene. It also works quite well to harden basing works.

The ease release won't help you with making the mold. I would recommend sealing stuff with watered down PvA glue hut even still some pieces may get stuck in the silicone and stay in it once separated. Keep your first cleanest mold as your new master if this happens.
