Hey all,

I've published my gothic buildings on Thingiverse here:

Small Building - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:217828
Large Building - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:217827

If you have access to a 3D printer, you can download and give them a shot. They print very well even at low resolution, and you can reduce the infill to 5% to save filament.

I'll be adding photos to the Thingiverse pages as soon as I can get a couple nice shots.

Why is that? Honestly, the recent legal experience points somewhere else entirely. I would be flabbergasted if this attracted any kind of IP-troll attention.

Very nice. But I'd prefer separate walls instead of full buildings.

As for the IP thing, the Epic40K phrase is being used, that might cause a problem. Gothic as a descriptor should be fine.

Ah. That is true. A change to "for use with" or compatible with would clear all doubt. Nice work too. I wonder what it would cost to print?

Is it hollow or solid?

With MakerBot-style 3D printers, you can specify the amount of infill you'd like. For these, I used as little as 5% without any issues.

So short answer is that it's designed as a solid, but the software will recognize that it doesn't need to be fully filled and can be adjusted to make it nearly hollow.

Hmm, what's the quality of the MakerBot printers?

I think they're fine for these larger items, but there's no way you'll get a good quality miniature out of them.
