Amazing! I surely would like to see it on Shapeways... :)

I would make just one small modification (but that's just for personal taste): I would put something on top of the four central columns; either some "position lights/viewing ports", or some vertical holes to be counted as torpedo launchers...

Hmm, let me look into that. As for the torpedo launchers, does the Defiant Light Cruiser offer that option?

Ok, I forgot it was going to be a Defiant class equivalent!

Anyway, that's kind of weird, since in the original rules (armada) it has 2 prow lances, while in the BFG revised rules it has 2 prow torpedoes and 2 L/F/R weapon batteries, same as the other 2 light cruisers...

Odd, according to the rules I found on the GW site the thing only has a prow mounted lance and launch bays on both sides.

Exactly! The revised rules I'm referring to are the unofficial one, at:

(excellent webpage name, by the way :D)

My only suggestion would be that since two modules, for lack of a better word, represent a single bay on the hull in BFG world (it being a CL after all) I'd connect them a bit. Perhaps on the upper and lower edges of both have it go straight across instead of cutting in. It'll reduce a bit of the tendency of the model to look bulbous at a distance I expect. Being an original design I'd love to see this on a Shapeways store too.

As others have said, I am not a huge fan of the prow. Probably because the graceful Voss prows have been beat into my head so much. If I ever got my hands on one though it'd be easy enough to replace with some of Zac's custom prows.

I've removed the models from the store at the moment for two reason:
-Apparently some of parts of the ship are too thin to be printed. I was kinda hoping Shapeways would mention that right away when uploading a model, but apparently it's only possible after I sell a model and then they cancel the sale. Very frustrating.
-Need to figure out how to lower the price of the models, it's too expensive at the moment. The only option now might be to sell them in squadrons rather than individual ships. Lets see how that'll go...

The Martinet and Absolutist are both available again. The antenna have been removed, and some parts have been thickened up.

Whilst strong & flexible plastics are available options, I would recommend Frosted Detail or Frosted Ultra Detail.
