Thank you!

I've also adapted the three frigates to the same style; these should be ok to put on Shapeways, I think...

The gun frigate:

The lance frigate:

And finally, the torpedo frigate:

they look great, the armour wings on the torpedo version could be brought backwards a little, otherwise the guns will be shooting through them

I see what you mean! Actually, it's a trick of the extreme perspective of sketchup, in truth there's a massive gap of 0,2 mm between the gun barrel and the tip of the wing!

I'll try to move it backwards, it shouldn't be a problem :D

Did it! Here's the updated torpedo frigate with the wing moved a little back; it's not much, but I agree that it looks better now:

And now for something completely different!

This is something I read about in a BL book (I think one from the Dark Angels trilogy): a custom command chimera without a turret, with a remote controlled missile launcher and a communication relay; it doesn't make much sense, but I liked the idea :D

Ooh I like the chimera Armand. It would make a nice supreme commander transport or blitz objective.
Personally I'd prefer the dish to be the lower profile type, with the top and bottom chopped off, rather than being a full circle (if that makes sense), but each to his own!
Nice work on the ships too. Keep up the good work! :)

Hi guys,

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

I think it's due time for me to show you the big thing that I mentioned a few posts before, or, as it happens to be, my most beautiful mistake...

When I started working on a Space Merchant battleship, I had a pretty clear idea of how I wanted it to be: being the flagship of a very rich and powerful space merchant, it had to be a warship, a warehouse, a shopping centre and a luxury mansion all together.

Thus I started working, and finally after many months I've completed a design that I like. Here it is!

In its Empire State configuration:

Emp 1.jpg

And in the Apocrypha configuration:

Apoc 1.jpg

And a few more views of the Empire State version:

And a few details; here you can see the container docking repositories on the keel, below the launch bays:

While here you can see the bridge with its extensive communication array\satellite tv antennas:

Finally, I liked the idea of giving it different personalized bridges, and I worked on an exaggerated and extremely simplified version of the Taj Mahal:
