Sharp details. None of those nasty print lines, even Shapeways' most detailed material until now, FUD, suffers greatly from it. Heck, even the amazing miniatures by Troublemaker Games have that gritty printed texture, which is a real shame. So you've got a very clean model which is immediately ready to cast. I mean, look at this. Up until now no way on Earth Shapeways would have been able to do something like this.

Blender is one way of doing it, it's easier to use SketchUp. The only downside with SketchUp is that you're kinda limited when it comes to more organic shapes and such, but even so, I've seen people pull off some pretty nice stuff with that program.

Hi guys!

Short update: I tried to model an alternative bridge for the Grand Barge; what do you think, better or worse?

Hi Armand,

as i'm really interested in your Grand Barge. Is it possible to buy the alternative bridge version?

Cheers,

Ole

Hi everyone,

I'm still alve! I've had a bad flu, bot now I'm almost well again! Back to 3d sculpting now :)

The heavy transports are almost ready for sale, I've modelled an alternate prow and a "prison" battery\attachment.

Not at the moment, but I think I can make something up for that!

Although it's quite a dangerous "shape" to put on sale, if you know what I mean...

Didn't GrimDarkBits on shapeways have something like that?

Yep, and that's part of the reason they got hit by the IP hammer...

Hence try to make a variant design. It could just be called a different "Pattern" or "Mk"? I mean, look at the Mk1 Thunderhawk, then there was this one before Forge World made one.

Wouldn't this work well enough? 100x Dropships by you.

Ha, funny you should mention that one! I'm just very curious to see what Armand will come up with, his work has been very inspiring to me!
