The other option is to send the file to those who for private use want it 3d printed, and not put on the shapeways store. I know ive done this before. Though again full descression of the file owner!

Hey everyone, thank you for the compliments!

While checking back on my WIPs, I found something that I had forgotten about; a conversion of my space merchant cruiser to represent the infamous Bakara's Chariot, from Fanatic Magazine 74 (I think?).

For those wondering, it's a Lunar Cruiser belonging to a reaver and former Tau Auxiliary, refitted with several Tau systems. Basically, it's a Lunar with Ion Cannons instead of lances (no gameplay change), one extra shield and a 30cm move, that cannot Come to New Heading and has a chance to disengage at the start of each turn.

As it was already half done, I decided to go ahead and finish it; it's almost done now, I'm just thinking of exchanging the dome and antennas in the middle for a tauish shield generator.
Starting from a standard space merchant Lunar, I've changed the prow, the lance batteries, the engines and the bridge; the biggest challenge was giving the prow a rounded tauish shape, without making it look like something rated R... ;)

Let me know what you think!

looks cool but the front needs something, maybe have it slightly smaller and how about on the sides more of the "gill" like torpedo launchers layered on top of each other going from big to small

I remember there was a list or bunch of rules for Imperial ships that joined the Greater Good. This one would fit in nicely!

I had the same reaction. Perhaps the prow could take more design cues from the forgeworld models by being flatter and more manta shaped?

Hi guys, thank you for the replies!

It appears the comments are unanimous, back to the drawing board then!

Hey everyone!

During the holidays I found some time to do a little modelling, I hope you'll enjoy some pictures!

To start with, I've redone the Bakara's chariot prow from scratch, following the suggestions received; this one is a little smaller, with side fins reminiscent of the Tau designs.

The test print should be ready soon!

Later I'll post some pics of the rest of the stuff, including something big! ;)

Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it! :)

Next is a variant of a model you've already seen; this will probably not end up on the online store, for some reason...

Anyway, here's the Inner Circle Elite Corps Strike Cruiser;

The I of the bridge stands for Inner Circle, you know!
