These are wonderful mate excellent work. Static defences turreted bunker etc are something i've always been looking for so tinker away please. Oh and the vehicle accessory sprue is a great idea, maybe add some stowage items to. |

Regarding the tanks: check your mail. I've always been a fan of static defences, I will be toying with them soon! The sprue is another fascination of mine, please give me more suggestions of stuff that could be added to it. |

are these in anticipation that they'll be also (hopefully) sold to VGM? |

That is indeed the plan. By the way, would you have any suggestions for little upgrades/etc to add to a vehicle 'accessory sprue'? Another thing I'd love to do - but sadly am incapable to do so - is to sculpt some infantry figures that could be mounted on top of the tanks, kinda akin to this. Oh well, one can dream! |

Been beefing up the turret a bit, did the same for the conqueror cannon variant. Since they are part of the 'nostalgia sprue', I thought them as older variants, maybe even mainly obsolete models that are not that common anymore. The more clunky feel might then be fitting.

I would caution against making then to big remember the ammo supply debate from a previous post. Looking nice though never the less, keep on tinkering. |

They are a little bit taller now, would need to shrink them just a little bit I'd thing. The ammo feeds will need some thinking too... |

Ok, been tweaking the tanks a bit. First of all, I decreased the turrets' height with about 20%: Attachment: Secondly, I've been playing a lot with the quad autocannon: Attachment: Attachment: This way I can keep the turret as a single piece rather than cutting it up just so it can be cast. Also, this way it matches closely to many other quad weapons, rather than being two twin-linked cannons. I assume the ammofeed of these weapons is mounted partly in the turret and another part in the hull of the tank. However, since it's a quad weapon, I can imagine it's rather limited in the amount of ammo it can carry, which is probably also one of the reasons (from a background perspective) that this model was at a certain point replaced for the single autocannon or by sacrificing its transport capabilities (like the Hydra in 40k). A similar point arises with the battlecannon, whilst powerful I can imagine that such a weapon could also carry limited amounts of ammo, meaning that this type of turret on the Novan IVR was at a certain point discontinued as well and mounted on more specialised vehicles. Like I said, it's the 'nostalgia sprue'! |

Siege tanks!!! Very early WIP, trying to get the general shape done. The idea in this instance it do have two variants. One is your basic siege tank, armed with a short-range, large-bore direct fire cannon designed with siege, urban, and bunker-busting warfare in mind. The other one is a heavy laser cannon, capable of destroying enemy tanks from long range. Novan IVR and human model (6mm) added for scale.

Interesting but i'd say reduce the size of the gun by 50% it's way to big as is, IMHO. As it happens i'll be having a similar model done for my elites range. |

It's indeed too chunky at the moment. I've moved the cannon a bit higher up the hull and decreased it by 30%. Noticed that 50% would make the cannon too tiny compared to the rest of the tank. Will need to figure out a way to make the gun removable so that other types of weapons could be added as well.
