Here's another update on the tank. Big 'change' is that I shrunk the whole tank a bit to make it more 'realistically' scaled compared to a human human. I also tweaked the turrets a bit so they would be castable in 6mm scale. Some of the detailing on the barrel would be too small and frail to work.

Looking good! I like the idea of interchangeable tracks\wheels\other propulsion systems :)

In other news, If there were 6mm combine troopers available, I'd buy a lot of them in a pinch! *wink*wink*secret handshake*

I got that combine model here. Thing is that it's 3d. I'd need to use a program like Blender to make a good 3d version of a Combine soldier. Sadly enough my skills with such software are (still) rather crappy. :(

I've been building some variant components for the buildings. They are not necessary to put the standard buildings together, but they're extra bits that add a bit more character. I've added my tank model in between to give you a sense of scale:

I like the tank design. The general shape reminds me of the strv 103.Maybe the added turret should hug the hull more. It looks a bit to high as is.

On serious note adding eagle heads would certainly tie these in with other Grim-Dark buildings, albeit with downside of making them too specific to Imperium.

I do like what you have come up with though.

The plan is not to have skulls or eagles on this stuff. The idea is kinda that this is supposed to be pre-Imperial, or my vision of early Imperial stuff, meaning that it's far from the grimdark feel that modern Imperial design seems to have.

My main inspirations at the moment are Brutalist and Fascist architecture, but with some Soviet influences in there as well. I'm exploring to add some Gothic and Baroque stuff in there as well, but keep it rather subtle, and in a very technological way, rather than purely ornate. Need to kinda ponder to see what will work and what won't.

Started experimenting with hexagonal buildings. This one is pretty easy, as you can see it only consists of two different parts: 6 wall components and a single roof component. They can also easily be stacked up, enabling you to build really high towers.
