I've finished up the first batch of bases:

The top three ones are 65mm, the ten middle ones are 40mm and the bottom fourteen are 25mm. I could of course make many more variations with also more stuff sticking out and such, maybe even cavalry bases, 30mm and 50mm ones and even bigger stuff for titans, but doubt it would be that relevant. 25mm works for normal infantry, 40mm for larger models and 65mm for chunkier stuff.

Took these out of the archive. Don't really know what to do with them though...

No problem! Let me tweak them a bit first though, I think I can improve them a bit. :)

My first 6mm humanoid model ever, a war droid of a sorts.

Just a quick question, that round bit on the bottom of 6mm models, how big is that piece supposed to be? What are its dimensions?

Most figure bases are 6mm wide by 1.8mm deep.

Nice bot. :)

Been tweaking the turret tank a bit, it kinda resulted in it becoming two variants...

On the missile turret, I'd recommend that you reduce the width of the rim around the missiles and increase the size of the missile tubes a tad. At the size they are now I think they will be a pain to paint and difficult to get to show up at arms length.

Thanks for the feedback!

Been toying a bit with your suggestion, how about this?

recessed missiles are hard to paint and need to be pretty big to show up well. Most times you see tubes that are drilled back with no missile visible or the missiles extending past the tubes like with some of the GW stuff. I'd think about making the tubes about 2x the size of the rivets you have there. My preference is for the extended missiles as they tend to look a bit nicer painted up.

(I think adding a strip around the outside edge of the front of the missile tube or are panel line around there would look nice.)

These are coming along nicely my only niggle at the moment is for the turreted tanks which really need a bigger turret ring how are guys supposed to move from inside the vehicle to the turret. Would probably need to widen the hull area the turret sits on. Unless of course the turret is meant to be automated and no one needs to go inside.

Nice work on these sir they are looking good.
