Evening all. I've recently come into possesion of some masters of a trench system suitable for 6 and 10mm games; they would make a great 6mm proxy for some of the 28mm scale FW DKoK trenches which were released a few years ago as well as being the perfect match for any of the fortifications that you might find in Epic:Armageddon or any other Epic game. Cadians, DkoK, Baran, Imperial Fists; all could use these.

The pieces are: straight section, end section, corner/tri section, firebase/bunker.

Note from the pictures that these will not fit 20mmx20mm bases; only 40x10/12mm. FoW bases don't fit either.

I can see these being supplied in sets roughly of:

3xStraight Section
2xTri section
4xEnd section

and

3xBunker
2xEnd Section

Not entirely sure of costs yet, would attempt to keep it to under £10 per set...but please don't quote me on that until I've done further research.

What I'm asking for are expressions of interest; who would be interested and in how many sets. Also if you can see a need for different sets.

If I get enough interest to make 10 or more sets then I'll go from there :-). Raise your voices please!

Ryan

I would initially be interested in 1 of each of the bunker and trench sets

Ack, too bad they only work with strip bases.

Indeed, that was always my thoughts on them as well.

They are great looking terrain though!

I'll probably pick some up from CAL this side of the planet as I believe he's got them too.

It's a shame 20mm doesn't fit. Doesva 40 x 15mm base fit out of curiosity? That's what I base my marines on.

edit : probably could be put down as around 4+ of the first set and 2+ of the second one of your proposition.

Hey guys,

I do have some moulds for these down under if peeps are interested. I will have a chat to Ben and see lif he still has the files. If so we can do some modification and tool up a new set that can take a 40mm base. It's in my interest as I am after a second set to run out the second line of my defences table. I will keep you all in the loop on this one.

Cheers
Aaron

These are nice but I'm not too keen that the walls are so high that the infantry can't see over them to fire.

However, they look perfect for travel Space Hulk!

This is perfectly accirate though. WWI trenches were dug six feet deep. What's the use of a trench if your noggin's still getting shot at?

Well i think trenches looks much better when they are relatively thin. Trenches implying srip bases is fine by me; I am not too sure that i would be interested in 20+ mm wide trenches.

I designed them tall so they could be used with 10mm deep insulation board if desired. Cut the right shape and drop them in.
