It said on the latest kickstarter that the model would be delivered in august? Whats the status on them?

KS3 models are expected all cast up in the next week or so now. We already have some of the lines in.

I got your e-mail update on the plastic infantry.

Please don't worry over the delays. You've a well-earned reputation, and your infantry figures look great. I'd put up with even more cost and delay to get plastic infantry from Troublemaker.

And, I appreciate your keeping us up to date.

It's frustrating, since i was hoping it'd be the start of a series of plastic kits. guess the agents in china have killed that.

Whenever I read about this latest twist my inner ear starts playing the mission impossible intro.

We might do vehicles again, in the UK.
And we could certainly do some plastic terrain.
No more infantry though, dealing with China has been infuriating, but the cost to do infantry in the west is prohibitively high.

How come infantry is more expensive to produce?

I'd assume it's the skills required for the micro-detailing they need being more expensive.

On the plastics generally, no probs as usual - Bucket loads to paint before I think of worrying about them - I have some lovely metal gobblers to get started with soon too...

High numbers of details in very small areas, complicated flow patterns, and a lot of individual imprints on the mould.

That's a real shame, I love plastic infantry.

What will happen to that infantry for those who never backed? Will they have access by buying in metal?

Also, I've been watching the last kick-starter that I missed with interest. Will you be announcing here when a general release of it is coming, or do you have twitter I could follow or something else?

We will get the plastic infantry & tanks sprue on sale through Troublemaker Games.
It's just unlikely that we'll do any more styles of plastic infantry in future.

We'll get them up for ordering as soon as our 3rd crowdfunder is finished dispatching.

There has been some recent positive movement that I hope means we're moving to the goal again. I need a new update from our consultants to confirm.
