You are freaking awesome, Evil and Chaos.
Anyways, Todderman, I have no idea, I'm hoping that its a hint at a terrain line to run with the miniatures.

It's a new matter printing style we're using. Higher resolution, but support material during the build has to be solid, rather than water-soluble ala Shapeways' FUD.

Three questions;

1: Is that what will allow you to achieve such detail at such a small scale?

2: Does that make the process significantly more expensive? I'm not cheap, I'm buying these models, the only thing their cost effects is how many

3: Does it look like their will be direct US supplier, or will they have to be ordered from across the pond?

4: Any chance of terrian?

They said yesterday on Facebook that they hope to get them in retail October of this year.

I am extremely excited about these snipers. At last! I don't have to sully my 6mm armies with Hobbits....

I missed the models here, they look good. Will they be made in resin or metal?

What's the resolution of the new printing material? Is it more or less expensive?

If the top was selectively removed from the sniper sprue it'd make a good orky barracade wall with spikes and big face thing.

Any more updates on this chaps?

I'm still curious to know more about the new printing process you're using, which you mention is better resolution that Shapeways, please could you tell us more about it? Shapeways prints down to 0.1mm (I think?) so I wonder how low this goes? Who are you using for it and can the print outs be painted on directly? I'm wondering whether I could CAD and print chapter specific shoulder pads for my marines and do other super-detailed detail bits.

I'm guessing microwaves and nanoparticles.
