Oddział Osmy does tanks that are a dead ringer for the ones in the Colonial Marines manual. They’re what got this whole project started, and I do need to finish my Marine battle group - they’ll be useful in the conflict I’m planning on Mars.

Incidentally here are some size shots of some of the othe Microworld vehicles (plus one 3d printed one direct from National Cheese Emporium, far right). All based for mars combat, on 5/8@ x 1” bases.

L to R: Hellas Security and Defense Force (Federal Republic of Hellas Planitia), Earthlight Division (European Union), U. S. Colonial Army First Cav, JGSDF National Readiness Force.

Draah’z is a state on the Saaka’r Rim, and is the outermost of the Batollic States. Among the stars within their mandate is Relian Kru, until recently thought to be uninhabited - the inner four planets were far too hot for intelligent life to evolve, and the outer four planets were gas giants. When the Rimship “Heliad” found that the system had a native civilization after all, and moreover that its inhabitants were in the midst of an interplanetary colonial war, a shocked Draah’z Assembly voted unanimously to intervene and save these remarkable creatures from self-destruction. This is easier said than done, however - the warrior race native to the third planet, though disunited and quarrelsome, has a long history of skilled warfare, technological advancement, and adaptation to new circumstances. Even with Batollic technology being far in advance of these natives, they are unlikely to submit easily to Draah’z protection.

Some forces to defend the Federated Colonies on Mars. These are from the Federal Republic of Hellas Planitia - two L2 Laser Tanks (for scale) next to a Mark III "OHMU" Superheavy Autonomous Armored Vehicle. The OHMUs go up to Mark XL, which can control entire theaters, but even the smaller vehicles have their place in the battle line, especially since all of Mars has a population of less than 75 Million, leading to manpower problems.

That New Terra MBT works surprisingly well with the 3mm stuff.

They go together shockingly well! The line is as close as I’ve ever seen to a full integrated set from 3mm all the way up through Bolo-scale supertanks, and I love it. Even the Light Tanks work as superheavies or “Mark I” Cybertanks.

The Drahh'z Intervention kicks off with the landing of a Reach Force to probe Federal defenses in the vicinity of Syrtis Major.
