Any recommendations? Seems like a 2mm scale SF game would be fun, but I have no idea where to start

There's also Picoarmor, though that's 3mm.

What about infantry? Is 2mm too small for troops? I don't think I could get interested in a game without ground pounders.

Picoarmor do 1:600 / 3mm ACW inf. Irregular minis have 2mm ranges… but, it's sculpted by irregular ::) .

How's about VSF in 2mm? Brigade Models has a game called Land Ironclads

Brigade Models' Land Ironclads

It's a companion game to their other 2mm VSF game Aeronef

Brigade Models' Aeronef

Oddzial osmy from Fighting 15's do 3mm Modern, WW2, ACW, Black powder(coming) and accessories, for now but are looking to expand their ranges. £3 for 15 tanks.15 strips of infantry 8 per strip i think. they are cast with a harder pewter, so stand up to abuse! very sharp and detailed models. Matilda 2's have the rectangular sections cut out by the bottom of the track cover!

i have some ACW, Tigers and Matildas. will post pics soon-ish.
GZG Germis 2mm AT-AT's are nice, infantry are nice too.

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a 2mm/3mm large scale game that isn't overly complicated. Would like lots of tanks and infantry etc. Had a look at Land Iron Clads and although it looks good, it isn't really my cup of tea. However, I like the idea of having big "boss" type units.

Can anyone advise of a rule set/model line?

All the best and thanks in advance.

Rob.

Germy, the sculptor behind the GZG 2mm stuff is in the process of making a rule set for this scale, but haven't heard anything about it in a while. I'm going to use Dirtside II, leaving everything as is, to see how it works. Weapon ranges and movement should work pretty good, I'm thinking.

As far as ranges, there is only GZG, Picoarmor, Irregular and Javelin98 on Shapeways (I think all mentioned above) that I know of who are producing 2mm/3mm.
