One more mistake on my side that I must not repeat in the future: I thought that admirals were reroll-less when you bought them. My mistake: they come with one reroll as default. Yup, I am droping the extra reroll them. Only one reroll is tricky but I have been paying for a second and using only one n the few games I have played so far so I sdhould come up well enough, heh.
Well, given my recent review of bank account (seems I am relatively richer than I thought given the hellish ammount of books I had to buy) I will go up with the following for my starting fleet:
- Emperor/Oberon(haven't decided yet) - 2 cruiser boxes - 3 swords - 4 cobras - 2 dauntless
I will work around what cruisers to take, but a pair of lunars, a gothic and for the third either a dictator or an upgraded tyrant. I don't realy like the dominator, even if most people I have met like it. The dominator still seems like a weird combo to me, dunno. I might even take a Mars as the third cruiser choice (same base to construct it,you know)
Thx for the tips so far I will paint some vessels and place them around as soon as I can
Regards,
Xavi

Looks good Zavi...and I only use the one reroll too. Relying on rerolls is the path to defeat!
BTW- When you build your BB, I recommend you just blu-tac in the painted weapon bays. Thatw ay you cans wap them out and make any configuration BB you want. A nice economical alternative to buying both (which I ended up doing anyway in the end....but then I could have 2 Emperors if I wanted!)
Looking forward to seeing the end product!
