CONQUEST is almost here which is held in Northern California, the Bay Area, California, USA at at Rickeys Hyatt Hotel on 4219 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, California.

ConQuest will run nonstop the entire 2003 Labor Day Weekend, beginning Friday, August 29th at 2:00 PM and ending Monday afternoon, September 1st at 5:00 PM. ? ?

I don' think that there is enough interest in either system at Conquest to merit the question.

GW, interestingly enough, isn't neccessarily the top dog at Conquest. Usually, historical miniatures gaming, RPGs, and the like beat out GW game events.

After 28mm 40k, the other systems are mostly ignored with the exception of MoW which has a strong following in the Bay Area region for some odd reason.

I doubt that there will be any other Epic games of any sort although there probably will be a few "die-hards" who stop by for our Epic game...

Last year, my favorite game that I played was a really fun 6mm "War of the Worlds" game!

My second favorite was a campy "Escape the cemetary Zombies" game hsoted by some "backwoods" guys from Fresno. They have some interesting characters painted up to be the PCs. Last year, I got to be Disco man!

I also got to met the Perry twins. They're great guys. I got to shoot one down in an Aerodrome (W.W.II fighters) game.
