Hi Toco,
A few questions, When selecting a Tau auxiliary formation, what do you use as a commander? It says the formation must have a commander.... Is it 1 unit from the list?
So if I have a full formation of 5 Human auxiliaries, is one of them the HQ unit, or would I end up with 6 units in total?
Also what are Galg?
What are Nagi?
Cheers!
Steve
I used the standard rule from the 3rd edition game. Add a commander "title" to a unit of the main force for an extra 25 points. A full formation of 5 Human Auxiliaries would be 5 units (or bases) big and one of them would be the HQ. This can be represented by using the official cardboard tokens that came with the base game.
The Galgs are a frog-like amphibious xenos species who often serve as mercenaries for the Tau Empire. Members of the Galg race are covered in green scales and appear to most humans as large, humanoid frogs. The Tau Empire normally maintains a small number of Galg mercenaries within their ranks but Galgs can be found in the employ of many different factions across the galaxy as long as the price is right.
Sha'Galudd is the homeworld of the Nagi, a small species of highly intelligent worms known for their mind control abilities. When first discovered, the Nagi were hated creatures known as mindworms, but since the early violent conflicts, they have agreed a peace accord and joined the Tau Empire. Many Nagi now serve as advisors to the Ethereal caste.
I sugest to use Tzacol Necalli warriors from Onslaught to represent Galgs. No idea how to represent the Nagi...
