The model on the Battles book page 33 has the gun pointed forward. Do you think it has been modified? Mine (not the old plastic ones) all have guns facing down.

I am going to guess that it's the metal dreadnought with the armament from the plastic one mounted on its shoulder.

That is a modified original Dread from SM1 era ... Here is mine of that type. Image The ones in the rear were in the original pose. The 2 in front I too modified a bit.

There were actually 4 different types of Eldar Combat Walkers/Dreads .... this is just one type ... I have since gone back added detail, decals, a little flock on bases, etc. to all of those ... Need to take updated pics ... :-[

Pretty sure it's a Banshee Dread with its arms repositioned and a plastic Heavy Weapon Platform gun

My 1st pic is the Vampire Spirit Walker in Panzer Grey

The Banshee is Dark Green in #2

The top one in Grey is the War Cry

And the War Walker in Yellow #4


You are probably correct ... in your ID ... IMO. The War Cry only has one arm ... the Banshee has two ... 8)
