I believe this was a 1500 point game with myself playing the unstoppable orks surging forward to overwhelm the pitiful humans who stood in our way.
Since this was a breakthrough scenario, I wanted hard-hitting formations that could take a punch and keep slogging forward. No speed, no trickery and no subtlety. I picked a unit of boarboyz, a unit of foot-slogging Snakebites backed by grots, Stompas and Squiggots, a unit of BloodAxes filled with plenty of long-range fire power and a commanding general.
The Imperial Fists player took specialty formations- a unit of assault troops and units of tactical troops backed by Whirlwinds. As the defender, he lined his side with razor wire (the unpainted popsicle sticks with posts in them and trenches (the unpainted black thing) while using his option to hide to great effectiveness.
