Such a nice army. Have you been able to use it on the tabletop yet? |

I took Hadraniels host to another mini-tourney a couple of weeks ago; Pics here, if Google works I fielded my newly painted, nearly finished Banelord (just needs banners!) to scrape off the first-painted-game jinx. It didn't disappoint, in the first game it took a few shots stripping it down to two shields, and then ate two deathstrikes doing a combined 11 TK damage. So much for that... It recovered in the last game, though, bullying its way across the bridge, geting assaulted by every ork in the enemy horde, taking some damage and breaking, but it (fearlessly) stood its ground, rallied, won initiative and sent the attackers packing the following turn, thrashing Nobz and Stompas with joyous abandon. Epic! I've also been busy working on the lovely new Defeat in Detail Terminators and Daemon Princes I got from the Vanguard crowdfunder (I mean Tainted Elites Heavy Armour and Tainted Hierarch, of course!) - so, here goes: The Ascension Pact, Tzeentch-aligned Terminators with a Lord and a Daemon Prince. Hadraniels Chosen, Scouts with Rhinos. If they look familiar, it is no coincidence: Their mates are still stuck in the ditch over here... A couple of extra Daemon Princes, with Wings, for Khorne and Nurgle Nurgle Daemon Prince, with some other Nurgle units for comparison. The model looks like a Great Unclean One, but it is rather small, so I thought it would work as a Daemon Prince instead. Khorne Daemon Prince, with other Khornate units. |

I find that Black Legion is a great army for modeling and painting - every retinue or warband or coven or war engine can tell its own story. |
