Hello.

This is my first posting to the Tactical Command forums.

There’s an event in Finland on 16.5.2015 called Ropecon that will host an Epic Armageddon tournament. I will participate this year, and decided that instead of dusting off an old army, I would custom build and paint a new army for the tournament. I haven’t really been painting Epic stuff for quite a long time, but I have hoarded a lot of the little guys over the years.

I haven’t built anything for 30k yet in any scale, so after some thinking and bouncing between Death Guard and World Eaters, I finally ended up deciding to do a World Eaters Legion army.

I guess I prefer guys with Anger Management issues over guys that don’t take a day off when they’re sick. (In reality the decision probably had more to do with the fact that I already have an IG army that's white/green)

The list will favor fluff over function and will probably be something like:

That's Noch 95790 Modellschnee SN 140 Soft Flake - made for n-scale miniature railroads. It has a very small, almost powdery grain, which I kind of prefer over most other similar products.

Basically I build the bases up using PVA glue mixed with white paint, and then glue a layer of that stuff over the basic form provided by the (dried up) PVA mix.

And here the World Eaters duke it out with the Space Wolves

White spray undercoat. Then deep shadows with citadel dawnstone, large areas with a 50/50 mix of administratum gray and white scar and then edge highlights with white scar. Looks more white in the pictures than it really is.
