I have thought about it, but I'm not sure I'm going to go that path. I'm worried it won't look good at this scale.

Much progress has been made this month. I was worried how quickly I could paint the guard as it takes a lot of these guys to add up to many points. My worries were unfounded and my simple paint scheme seems to be working well and still looks pretty decent.

I've got the models for my goal painted, based and are now just in need of flock. I think I'm going to use a tan flock to give the look of a dead area. My thinking is that will all the foot and vehicle traffic around these guys everything would be dead. We will see how it looks.

The increased size of the bases, only 4 dudes, and spacing of them seems more realistic. It is a good look. Great idea

Thanks. I never liked how crowded the models always were. In my opinion these look better on the table and it stretches my limited models into a larger force. Some of the larger infantry guys (Tyranid Warrior, Wraith Guard, and Ogryns) will be based on 20mm x 20mm bases with just 2 models. Mostly this is because some of these are valued like gold.

I have finished my Imperial Guard goal, I just haven't had a chance to take the army photos yet.

For June I'm going back to Eldar and plan to add more vehicles, wraith guard, and wraith lords. I might try to get another detachment of guardians done as well, but that will depend on available time.

Love the guard! Looking forward to the group shot.
Nice detail work on them, with hands and boots painted. Good job!

Sorry for the delay, but I finally got around to taking some pictures of the completed IG.

The NetEpic Gold companies have lots of bases of infantry. I finished one whole unit as well as some tanks and sentinels. Not a bad start to my IG army, but I have lots more to do when I come back to these guys in a few months.

I chose to flock with a brown static grass. Not quite as colorful as my other armies, but I like the look.

More Eldar are complete. I finished my June goal and again I'm happy how they turned out.

I've got a pretty solid force now, but still need to add a few more units.
