Post subject:  TOEG 2015 - Sean's Orks, Eldar, IG, and Tyranids
I have managed to collect a decent amount of several armies. I am going to introduce my gaming group to Epic, and I will be supplying the forces for everyone. I already have a pretty decent force of Space Marines and have tested color schemes for Orks, Eldar, and Tyranids.

My plan is to introduce the group with 1,000 point armies and then expand from there. I will most likely stick to basic infantry, tanks, and light vehicles. There will be no titans or flyers to start with and probably not many war engines. These will all be added in later.

My next complication is I haven't decided between NetEpic and NetEpic:Armageddon. Both interest me and are so different that they are really different games. So I want to build these forces so that they can be used for either system.

My goal will be to complete about 700 points each month. That should allow me to field all 4 armies by the end of the year. I will also be painting some additional models for my Space Marines to continue filling some holes in their support.

My goal for January will be 700 points of Orks. This will include an infantry warband and a blitz brigade.

I've made a bit of progress on my orks. I've got a batch of Bonecrushas ready for some detail work and a group of gretchin and Nobz ready for the bases to be painted.

Since I'm not smart enough to get the pictures in the forum post like other, so I have attached them below.

Agreed. I wouldn't be doing a yellow army if it wasn't for the GW yellow wash.

Thanks for the kind comments and encouragement. It helps to keep me motivated.

I've made good progress and have finished the Nobz and Gretchin that I had planned to complete this month. The boyz and Bonecrushas are nearly done. I'm hoping to have them finished and photos taken later this week.

I also painted a test model for a future detachment. This will be a group of Goff Gutrippas. Please let me know what you think and if it looks good as is or if it needs something else.

I like your clean style. But I do think you could add eg shoes and guns on those grots to really make them pop. Also some more colours on that battle wagon would help make it more interesting.

nice use of washes, how was the black on the goff test vehicle done? black wash over white, grey? the black looks very black
