Very nice work. And, as the others have said, the bases are great. Black can be a tough color to work with and base correctly, but you've chosen a color and theme that really offsets it. It might sound silly to apply such a lofty word in regards to toy soldiers, but that kind of thing is the mark of an artist. |

Thanks gents for the kind words. I managed to get some whirlwinds done today - pics shortly but I need an early night tonight in preparation for tomorrow. A dawn service at the war memorial is something not to miss. And @ dobbsy.. yes I think it was, build out of some spare 1s & 0s Finally, question for the brains trust - has anyone tried the any of the modification bits or proxies off shapeways? what quality is needed for 6mm? There is a sweet looking stand-in for a battle barge I'd like to get. |

Lovely as always. I've been putting off my SoB as I've not come up with a black methodology I liked for ranks. I think you've given me the approach to take on them. now get those iron hands playtests going! |

Geoff, Great looking stuff mate, keep it coming. I really hate the big pieces of flashing on the front of GW hulls. Whats next on the painting table mate? Cheers Aaron |
