Pounded out the Demolisher platoon:


Most likely this is all that I will be painting this month. (1,000pts for July!) I have monthly painting projects on a Dark Eldar site and an Eldar site that I really need to get on before the end of the month. I may spend a little time here and there in the next couple of weeks assembling some things for next month. I'm thinking of going with a "Guns of August" them next month with lots of artillery for my IG and SW's armies, though I must admit that I opened a blister of drop pods this morning and a Thunderhawk or two might be fun!

I said that I was done for the month...but it never really ends
Painted up the last of the Chimeras that I needed to field my Regimental HQ unit:

I have a game Thursday to play (3,000pts) and realized that I only needed 50pts to have a fully-painted army! It won't be the best army comp, but I'm going to get my butt kicked anyways and might as well look good while getting hosed. I'm trying to get these painted up by then(plan on using one, maybe two of them in the game)

Okay, I couldn't resist. I wanted to save these for next month, but jumped the gun and finished the Hydras today.

1,400pts of painted armored goodness for the month of July!
I am playing my first 3,000pt game tomorrow with the army and will be able to bust out a fully-painted army with 100pts to spare. I'll try to post an army pic from the game tomorrow. I'm eying my Manticores and titans for next month.

By all means, "steel" away! I'm stoked that I have 3 more of those FW hydras, love those models.
