First post here! I am a longtime 40k player of 23 years or so. I post frequently on Thedarkcity.net under the same user name. I never got into Epic back in the day due to a lack of opponents in my area. I was introduced to the game a couple of years ago, bought a few IG minis, even painted a few before hanging it back up. Just recently got the bug to start playing again (now that GW is totally pulling the plug on it ) I have complete IG and SW's armies ready for paint and plan on having functional armies for both by December.

For the month of May I will paint an infantry company(I have one painted, need one more). It's only 250 points, but given the hectic month at work teaching it will have to do! Primed the models yesterday, progress pics to follow!

May: One IG infantry company(250pts) Completed
June: Baneblade company, one Shadowsword(700pts) Completed
July: Leman Russ Company, Thunderbolt squadron, Demolisher squadron, Chimeras for Reg HQ, Hydra squadron (1,400pts) Completed
August: Manticore battery, 2 Warhounds, Warlord titan, Shadowsword company In progress

It happened
Finished up the two commissar stands(I didn't paint a commissar stand with the first company that I painted ) I'll have to call it for the month after the company is painted though; I have a monthly vow on Thedarkcity.net as well. (Damned Dark Eldar are never finished!)

Almost done with the company. I was pretty excited and thought I was done..... forgot about the commander stand I did get a blister of Thunderbolts yesterday. I'll paint those up as a treat after finishing up that last stand.
