And just to show that I haven't been completely idle, even though I haven't been able to paint so much the last few weeks, I thought I'd show a few WIPS.

I've done a bit of converting job. Below is my Ravager flotilla it's almost finished, just a sail and some Dark lance shooters to glue on. I had to few of the drivers (eldar gunners) but more are inbound from England as I won an ebay auction yesterday.



Secondly, I've also finished my Vessel of Pain. I did it with old jet bike parts as a tribute to the Raiders book, but changed the top as i wanted it to blend in with the rest of my vehicles. I would like to change the barrels of the vyper guns, since I've used them to represent Dark Lances throughout the army, and I don't like to be inconsistent (the VoP instead has two Long-barreld splinter cannons). I have yet to come up with a good alternative so they will stay as is for while. Anyways here's a picture.

Yeah I'm kind of forced down that path, as I couldn't really find any minis that I thought were good enough proxies.
All the converting has made this one of the most fun projects I've done in a long while though, probably most so since I did my Warhammer Chaos Dwarfs.

Wonderful stuff here a really unique stand out army!

Ok so lets see, it's update time before I'll start watching a movie. I did finnish two more formations so that takes me through may and junes vows.

It's the wytch warband and their transports. The bases have been done, just not painted, and since the tournament is closing fast they will not be prioritized. The second formation feels a bit like cheating for a months worth of painting, as it's onl two models. It the first flight of fighters (will do a second one as well).

They're made from the part of the current 40k reaver jetbike which the rider puts his feet on. The part has two wings attached. I have then glued on a epic plastic eldar jetbike which I basically chopped in half. The cannons are made of the support part of the epic plastic support weapon platform. you can see a tutorial I made here. There's a pic there that better shows what I mea about the weapon part.
