Ironbreakers aren't the most interesting of minis to paint as they are pretty much just spheres of armour, but I think this should look pretty good across the army:

The green really works on them, they came out great. Those facemasks really challenged my shaky hands when I did mine.

Basing is Vallejo oxid(sic) paste, which is a pre-mixed texture paste with a fine grain in a red gore colour liquid. This was painted over with slightly watered tan earth (coat d'arms), which left a bit of the red showing through. Wash black, then highlight. Tuft is from silflor. I was just going to use the red tuft, but I got some spring tuft as well (to justify the postage :p) and thought I might as well put a few spots of it on.

Thanks for the basing info. I use vallejos sandy paste and like it. I will get some of that red paste , it looks great.
