Looking good.

Try feathering the window pane light blue highlights rather than applying them as block colours?

Gotta figure out a way to to that that I can get consistent. I'll give it another shot.

One way that can work on small areas is to start with the lighter of the colours (light blue) and then apply the darker as a sort of washy-tint pulled across with a wet brush, rather than going dark-to-light.

I'll give that a shot when I wake up.

Right now it looks like the kid is going back to sleep. Hooray!

Ugh! They're worth it, but blending tose canopies is a pain!

A Marauder Bomber, not part of my 3k list.

I'm realizing a couple things as I see these pics at full resolution: I need to go over the wash again, and the primer I used on these (I finally ran dry of GW) sucks. Very grainy surface. It's not too bad in the spots I've gone over it with a coat of paint, though. I think I'll do a light coat of Codex and rewash the whole thing like I did with the Lightnings. Yay, redo. As long as I can keep the glass and engines intact it's not too much of a setback, though.

Black/Green Recon Squadron. Done except for basing.

Sigh. They've got a Sepia wash. Probably need another though, especially around the rocket pods. That's why I'm posting them, other's eye's see things mine don't always.

you know, who ever suggested blue for the canopies was a forward thinking genius :)

I don't know if the planes are a work in progress, but a little highlighting on the panels and sharp edges would work wonders. It's hard to rely on washes alone for creating an illusion of depth and even a couple of only slightly lighter highlights would make a big difference.
