It's November! And that means it's Month 3 of the Ulthwé ToEG. This month's target will be:

3 Wraithlords - 175pts
3 Wave Serpents - 150pts
6 War Walkers - 200pts

First post updated too.

Edit - thought I had 6 Wraithlords but apparently I only have 3. Oh well. War walkers instead.

The way I did it was, after priming black, to use 3 layers: Iyanden Darksun foundation paint, Golden Yellow, and Sunburst Yellow. For the yellow helmets on the infantry I didn't bother with the Sunburst Yellow, but the tanks and Wraithlords got all 3 layers. For the tanks I went for a highlight towards the outer edges, so that the lightest colour is towards the outside.

This month's kind of a cheat - I have some half-painted Aspect stands that need some TLC to bring them up to scratch, so it's more a finishing job. I'm also planning to put in an order for a few new toys soon so watch this space 8)

Just a quick update, no pics but the Aspect Warriors are coming along. Dire Avengers nearly finished. My delivery arrived the other day too, so I can add a couple of Storm Serpents, Revenant Titans, another Warhost box and some Shining Spears to the painting list :D

The Dire Avengers have yellow loincloths and black/yellow helmet plumes to tie in with the Craftworld colours, while the Striking Scorpions have black/yellow stripes on their chainswords.
